17 May 2025On 10th Aug 2024, Madula & the New Vic Borderlines hosted the Creating Peace festival & workshop pilot event at the New Vic Theatre, Newcastle Under Lyme. This event was the first of its kind, taking place when the New Vic is normally closed to the public – and gave a chance for members of the public to experience different artforms and cultures, take part in workshops and get to know the artists within the community. The event was made free to the public.
The intention is to expand the event into a full festival with more workshops and artists for 2025. Thanks to all the artists, visitors and members of the public who came together to make the event a great success! many thanks to the New Vic Theatre for hosting the event, and to the Arts Council England & WorldWide Musicians United for their continued support!
